The Backup Plan For Handpieces And Related Parts
Large multinational corporations have had this in place for many years, no wonder some of them are thriving. And the small to medium-sized business owner need not ever fall behind, just as long as he too has his backup plan in place. These are the things you do in the event of unforeseen circumstances. When such incidents occur, it should never allow the business to fall still for long periods of time.
The consequences of long stretches of downtime are well-known by now. And in terms of motivating the urgent need for you to put in place your own backup plan, the nature of your business or industry is not terribly important at this stage. You could be a work from home carpenter or cabinet maker. Apart from mechanized implements, it is usual for you to have the reliance on your handheld tools or hand-pieces.
You could be a (medical) surgical practitioner. And in your practice, no matter how many new technologies you may have added to your surgical practice, you will still be falling back on your tried and tested hand-pieces. But business will stand still, and patients will have no alternative but to seek help elsewhere if you do not have your backup plan in place. One very important aspect of this plan is being able to rely with confidence and trust on the source suppliers and maintenance teams that will be looking after your required handpiece parts and products, apart from your trusted hand-pieces that ideally never leave your side.
All things being equal, the dentist is able to carry on with his practice while new parts and products are being fitted and shipped over to his rooms. And his patient will still be able to smile afterwards.
